Sheppie Snippets: Car club to hold Christmas toy run

The event will be held at the Protea Park grounds, in Albersville from 9am.

SOUTH Coast Toyo Club, a car club based in Port Shepstone, presents ‘Toyrun’ this Saturday, December 16.

This is a fund-raising event in aid of collecting old and new toys for orphans and the less fortunate. The event will be held at the Protea Park grounds, in Albersville from 9am. It will be a family fun day with food stalls, jumping castles and even Santa Claus will be present.

Christmas story

Join the Mbango Melody Makers as they tell the Christmas story this Thursday, December 14 at 6pm for 6.30pm. The play will be held at the Mbango Service Centre Hall. The Melody Makers will sing a selection of old and new Christmas carols while telling the Christmas story. Entry is free. Communal song sheets will be on sale at R2 each and a silver collection will be taken after the performance. All are welcome. For further information contact Karin at 082 4510226.

Dinner and dance

South African Promotions presents a pre-New Year bash, dinner dance in aid of the temple hall project in Port Shepstone. The event will be held at Marburg Secondary school hall on Saturday, December 30 at 6.30pm.

The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir will host a dinner and dance in aid of fund-raising for the temple hall at the Marburg Secondary school hall on December 30 at 6.30pm. Ready to entertain guests are music band San Production from Durban. They are (from left) Sanvir Dewchand, Viash Vidush Dewchand, Akash Cheball, Sarika Dooki, Preshen Dhanraj and Yashvir Mohanlall.

The Lower South Coast SPCA is selling 800 exquisite 2018 calendars for R100 each. The calendars are being sold at Ramsgate Stationers at Southcoast Mall, the SPCA premises in Uvongo and the SPCA charity shops at Harbour View in Port Shepstone and Shelly Beach and Mnandi Fast Foods at Hibiscus Mall.
