Crusader Wild Coast Motorcycle Club is revved up!

Men and women came together to share a love of riding motorcycles.

A crew of men wearing black leather pants, hats, vests, and jackets, together with their partners gathered together for a special celebration. They, the members of the Crusader Wild Coast Motorcycle Club, celebrated in fine style at their first anniversary at their clubhouse in Shelly Beach last Saturday.

President of the club, Kevin Oxenham, said that they ride together and protect each other. “When we ride in formation, we are a well-oiled machine and we make our presence known,” explained Mr Oxenham.

He pointed out that their first anniversary was a major milestone which reflected on a club of men and women who came together to share a love of riding motorcycles and were comfortable enough with themselves to feel they could contribute to the group dynamic, no matter what their stage in life.

Club members (from left) Paul Freeman, Gavin Tarboton and Eddie Bohm enjoy the anniversary celebrations.

“Personally, I feel when you’re in a group who are into motorcycles, you find yourself with people who have the same interests, with the same comfort level,” he went on. “Not just to be talking about it, but experiencing it together as well!”
