WATCH: Mtwalume murder suspect makes first court appearance

A 31-year-old man appeared briefly in the Hibberdene Court today.

The man arrested for the murder of four family members in Mtwalume on December 19, appeared in the Hibberdene Court this morning (Monday).

The 31-year-old is accused of murdering the family whose bodies were left in a blazing house.

The case was postponed for a formal bail application.

He was charged with arson and four counts of murder.

The man was arrested in Plettenburg Bay last Thursday by Detective Warrant Officer Herman Pienaar and Warrant Officer Michael Welsh. Read more on this case in this week’s  South Coast Herald.
