Yet another house robbery case in Gandhinagar occurred two days after a violent attack on a 58-year-old man in the same area.

The Flamingo Road resident was at home with her two children at 1.30pm, when two men forced open the door and security gate to gain entry into the house.
The woman was taken into a bedroom where she was bound with rope and locked in.
The intruders helped themselves to a TV, cellphone and jewellery before fleeing.
“She began screaming for help and her neighbors came to her assistance,” said Scottburgh SAPS communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.

Umzinto SAPS have registered a case of house robbery for investigation.
