SHARE: Three girls missing after swimming at Tweni Beach

A search party has been scouring the area throughout the evening in a desperate effort to find the missing children. Community members are urged to remain vigilant and report any information that could help bring them home safely.

Two sisters, aged 13 and 11, have been reported missing after they allegedly went swimming at Tweni Beach this afternoon. The sisters are also with a young friend.

The sisters, Odette Timmer (13) and Amor Timmer (11), with their neighbour, Charlotte de Villiers (11) went to the beach at about 12:00 and have not returned home.

According to Lazer 911 Security, the girls’ cellphones are currently going straight to voicemail.

The security company has issued an urgent appeal to the public for any information that could assist in locating the girls and ensuring their safe return.
