Man found dead in Umtentweni

Police are investigating.

A man was found dead on a road near a complex in Umtentweni on August 16 at about 01:45.

According to Lazer 911, reaction officer Excellent Luthuli was approached by two members of the public at Tweni Centre who reported seeing a man lying on the road.

The officer responded and found the man dead. Saps and ambulance services were notified.

Further investigation, with assistance from Lazer 911 officers, David Enslin and Willie Els, led to the identification and location of a suspect in the Tweni area.

The suspect was handed over to police for further investigation.
