Man (74) stabbed twice in Ramsgate robbery

The man was trying to defend himself.

A 74-year-old man was stabbed in his Bond Street, Ramsgate home yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.
“Reports from the scene indicate that the man was stabbed twice in the left arm while trying to defend himself against the armed intruder with a knobkerrie,” said Netcare 911 spokesman, Shawn Herbst.
He added that the man was treated at the scene and taken to hospital.
Members of the SAPS Dog Unit responded. Comment is awaited from police.
