WARNING: Don’t be tricked by the con artist posing as a policeman

The scamster seems to be targeting churches.

Police on the South Coast are urging everyone to be aware of a man pretending to be local policeman, Dawie Malan, in order to obtain airtime and money.

The conman phones churches and tells them that he, ‘Dawie Malan’ will donate meat to the church in exchange airtime.

He has already called three churches in the area.

Anyone who is contacted by this fraudster is urged to contact their local police station immediately..
