Welcome Taylah

Joan and Louis Nortjé are heartily congratulated on their first great grandchild, a baby girl, Taylah, born to their grandson David and his wife Danielle in Alberton recently.

Taylah, who weighed over 4kg at birth, is doing extremely well, despite an initial setback in the first few hours of her life.

Prayers required

Both Debbie Fletcher and Barry Jones underwent surgery this week and are wished speedy and complete recoveries, as is Nancy Allan, who is still not well after being ill for some weeks.

It was with sadness that the community learned of the death of Reg Foster last Thursday. Reg and his wife Mara ran the ’tuck shop’ at the caravan park for many years and as such, came to know a lot of locals and holidaymakers.

Reg had been plagued by ill health and his quality of life had deteriorated a great deal in the last few years. Heartfelt condolences go to Mara and other family members.
