There will be live music, poetry, chess and much more lined up throughout the day.
Come and explore the beach and bush, delight in art and nature and meet talented speakers, artists and lots more at Arts in the Garden this Saturday from 9am to 3pm.

The venue is a beautiful indigenous garden situated at 5 Milkwood Lane in Southport.
Here is the day’s full programme:
7:30: Guided Beach Walk at Southport Blue Flag Beach
8:15: Breakfast at own expense at Captain’s Anchor Restaurant
9:00: Opening with Paddy Norman, Chairman of Bendigo Conservation Group and Dell Pendock, past President of Rotary Port Shepstone.

9:30: Out of the Blue – Lizeka Gqumani, Senior Beach Steward
10:00: My Life with Bees – Talan Moult, Bee-keeper
11:00: The Incredible World of Pollinators – Val Payn, garden & landscaping consultant
11:30: Dancing – with Elvira Venter’s Dance School

12:00: Herbs, Edible Flowers and Companion Plants – Jenny M. (Jen’s Gardens)
12:30 – 14:00: LUNCH – LIVE MUSIC and POETRY, MEDITATION for those interested
14:00: Art from Trash – Glen Adendorff, Bricoleur artist
14:15: Circle dancing with Helen Dodge, artist

14:30: The Zen of Water – Radmer Lenash, painter
15:00: Garden Capture – Patrick Schultz, amateur gardener
15:30: Off for a short guided bush walk in the Bendigo Nature Reserve
- WELL-KNOWN ARTISTS EXHIBITING: Glen Adendorff, Elise Coetzer, Helen Dodge, Kay Federl , Darrell Hattingh, Radmer Lenash, Mondly Sikhakhane, Sean Winstanley
- Some artists will be painting / sketching on site.
- They are fortunate to also host jazz pianist Andile Yenana, and violinist Sandile Cele, along with talented students from The Expressive Arts Department of Esayidi TVET College, Gamalakhe Campus
NOTE: Entrance R50 / Lunch R60 – Tea, coffee and refreshments will be on sale
Visitors are kindly asked to bring their own chairs.
