Uvongo pensioner injured while separating fighting dogs

Both dogs were also injured, and one was taken to the vet.

A 75 year old pensioner was seriously injured while trying to separate two  fighting dogs earlier today (Tuesday).

Kwazulu Private Ambulance was called to the scene in Lilliecrona Boulevard, Uvongo.

According to spokesman,Belinda Catchpole the patient was treated and transported to hospital in a stable condition.

“Both dogs were also injured during the incident.”

The SPCA was called to assess and investigate the situation. The patient’s dog was taken to a local vet by Kwazulu Private Ambulance as well.
