The Sebenza Village charity shop has set the trend for the theme look which will be implemented throughout all the SPCA charity shops.

The SPCA opened another charity shop in Sebenza Village, Ramsgate in the middle of April 2018. The shop was revamped and is run by Louis Goeieman, who encourages everyone to visit.

Louis has done a marvellous job, giving the premises a character of its own. The Sebenza Village charity shop has set the trend for the theme look which will be implemented throughout all the SPCA charity shops.”We are looking for a sponsor to erect a large signboard on Marine Drive to advertise this shop,” says charity shop head, Marlise Booyens.

There is a variety of items available at the Sebenza charity shop, but donations will always be welcome. “The more, the better,” says Louis, adding that the shop is in need of working electrical and kitchen appliances, books, clothes, furniture, toys, puzzles, accessories, stools. There is an urgent need for linen and blankets.
And with the cold winter weather upon us, donations of cash, pet food or blankets for the animals in the SPCA’s Uvongo shelter are also urgently needed.
The SPCA extends a special thanks to South Coast Recovery Centre – www.scrc.co.za ; https://www.facebook.com/southcoastrecoverycentre/ who made this article possible.
