They, in turn, with their own NPC volunteer group (CVICO team) approached Shelly Beach Lions, who are great campaigners for diabetes awareness and prevention on the South Coast.
Together, they were able to source a new testing machine and donate it to Sunny so he may continue to monitor and control his diabetes in a healthy way.
“Diabetes awareness and prevention is one of Lions’ key programmes and we were delighted to be able to help Sunny with a new testing machine and help him with his diabetic journey,” said Mark Brauteseth, Shelly Beach Lions Club president.
