Fathers are celebrated at Touched by an Angel gathering
It was a special day out for dads ahead of Father's Day on Sunday (June 17).
While we are often thankful to mom for all that she does for us, how often do we acknowledge and thank our dad? Well, Touched by an Angel chairman Cookie Basudeo and her members held a special get-together to celebrate and honour fathers and fatherhood at her Marburg home last Saturday.

“The main idea of a special day to celebrate our fathers is to bond with your dad and spend more quality time together. Father’s Day is celebrated worldwide to recognise the contribution that fathers and father figures make to the lives of their children,” explained Ms Basudeo.
This year, Father’s Day falls on this Sunday, June 17 and we all know that a card and present are mandatory parts of the day.
