Take a wonderful walk along the shoreline in the coming weeks

Each walk is about 5km, in a southerly direction so the sun is behind as you walk.

The much-waited Southern Shoreline Challenge, hosted by Walking in Nature has officially begun.

Last Sunday nature lovers gathered in Hibberdene for the first leg of the challenge and thoroughly enjoyed the five kilometre walk along the exquisite coastline.

Each walk is about 5km, in a southerly direction so the sun is behind as you walk.

The walks are every two weeks to try to coincide with the lowest tide.

The next walk is on Sunday, June 24 from Hibberdene main beach to Umzumbe beach (Stiebel).

Registration is R20 per person and starts at 7am. A lucky draw takes place at 7.25am and the walk starts at 7.30am.
