Sheppie’s ‘jolly walker’ Darrell calls it a day

He will be using the time to travel.

The many fans of Darrell Day (80) will be sad to hear that he will be officially hanging up his takkies soon, after being on the road for some 39 years.

Darrel has been on the road since 1979 – running, walking and then, waving to passing motorists at the Oribi Plaza traffic lights in the mornings.
