Six of the party’s regions, including the Lower South Coast, had filed for an urgent court interdict stopping the conference from sitting.

The National Executive Committee (NEC) has assured ‘these’ members that their challenges would be solved.
“The PTT, working with national officials must ensure that, when the KZN provincial congress sits before end of July, it focuses on social transformation issues, organisational renewal and decisive victory in the elections,” reads the statement.
The NEC also encouraged all members to work towards unity and renewal of the organisation.
“Our objective is to unite the ANC,” reads the statement.
