Community to come together at Hope Park – and you’re invited

It is planned as a social gathering where family and friends can meet an enjoy each other's company.

Active Citizens’ Movement (ACM) is calling on South Coasters to attend its ‘Port Shepstone Community Bonfire’ – a get-together where family and friends can meet and greet each other.

The organisation invites all to bring meals and share with each other while getting to know one another. A bonfire will be lit by members of ACM, who will also provide fire for those wanting to braai. The event will be held at Hope Park in Marburg on Friday, August 3 at 6pm.

Pastor Reggie John said the main aim of the event was getting the community together and creating awareness. It’s not a formal meeting; it’s free and open to all. No alcohol or loud music will be allowed.
