Motorcyclist hospitalised after Uvongo accident

Paramedics from Netcare 911 responded to an accident in Marine Drive, Uvongo late yesterday (Wednesday)  afternoon.

Shawn Herbst, media liaison officer for Netcare 911, said reports from the scene indicate that a motorcyclist suffered a broken leg after being struck by a light motor vehicle.

“The patient was treated on scene and transported to hospital,” he confirmed.
