Tea party raises funds for Hope for Hospice

The event attracted a full house.

A genteel afternoon of delicious treats and engaging conversation over a pot of tea is what what transpired at the Hope for Hospice Tea at Marburg Secondary last Saturday.

“Gathering the local community was a great way to fund-raise for the organisation by encapsulating the enthusiasm of friends and family. The tea party attracted a full house, all of whom enjoyed the delicious refreshments along with some beautiful music,” said South Coast Hospice’s fund-raising coordinator BT King.

“The day was hard work, but the generosity of everyone who took part made it all worthwhile. It was fantastic to see everyone enjoying the day and, of course, raising much-needed funds for our organisation.”
