Izotsha Primary studies effects of ‘digital brain’

Pupils were shocked to see images reflecting the effects on the brain and how easily one can become addicted.

Izotsha Primary hosted guest speaker Brad Huddleston for a most interesting and informative talk entitled ‘Digital Cocaine’ for grades 4 to 7 last week. Mr Huddleston is a neuro-scientist who studies the effects of technology on the human brain and pupils were shocked to see images reflecting the effects of technology on the brain and how easily one can become addicted. His message had a huge impact on the pupils.

The cross-country team took part in a most enjoyable cross-country event hosted by Creston College.

Intermediate and senior phase pupils competed in athletics heats in preparation for their upcoming interhouse sports day.
