Distemper Outbreak: SPCA is down on four paws, asking for your support

The Lower South Coast SPCA needs your help to cover the costs of the recent distemper outbreak at its kennels, estimated to be around R50 000.

To this end, the society is holding a golf day at San Lameer country Club on August 17 ,with a shotgun start at 11am.

Book your four ball at R250 per player, or sponsor a tee for a donation of between R500 and R1000.

Bring a donation of dog or cat food as your entry on the day.

“Any donations towards the distemper outbreak will be highly appreciated. The funds are needed to buy chemicals and pay for external veterinarian bills, among other expenses,” said Michael Muller, manager of the Lower South Coast SPCA.
