Scottburgh Saps Youth Desk grateful for new look

The shirts will be worn by the members of the Youth Desk who will work closely with the Scottburgh Saps Social Crime Prevention and youth in the community.

Scottburgh Saps and members of their Community Policing Forum (CPF) were grateful to Councillor Shara Singh who handed over T-shirts to Sergeant Topsy Khwela of the Scottburgh Saps Social Crime Prevention for members of the Saps Youth Desk at a recent CPF meeting.

The shirts were sponsored by Cllr Singh, while the Scottburgh CPF bore the costs of the custom-designed printing on the shirts.

“These shirts will be worn by the members of the Youth Desk who will work closely with the Scottburgh Saps Social Crime Prevention and youth in the community, with the aim of creating crime awareness among the younger generation and educating them on the consequences of engaging in criminal activity,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.

Scottburgh Saps Visible Policing Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Linda Chiliza, thanked Cllr Singh and the Scottburgh CPF for this kind gesture, which would go a long way in fostering a sound relationship between the police and the community they served.
