South Coast Herald Longest Drive compo – are you up to the challenge? Enter now and put yourself to the test
Bring the family along for a feast of fun.
The South Coast Herald is inviting YOU to join us for a wonderful family fun day at the Port Shepstone Country Club next Sunday, August 26.
All the action takes place on the 18th hole, starting at 10am.
The highlight of the day? The ‘longest drive’ challenge during which golfers have five shots in which to pit their skills against their friends, foes, family or foursome partners.
The cost to enter the challenge is just R200 per player, which includes some awesome prizes, a free craft gin and craft beer, a bar snack at prize-giving, and a goodie bag.
All ages and both genders have been catered for, including men and women over 60 and youngsters aged between 7 and 9 years, 10 and 12 years and 13 and 5 years.
A variety of other activities, including ‘golf darts’, a ‘greatest chip’ challenge and seeing just how well you can tee off with a marshmallow are all free of charge.
After all that excitement, you might like to chill out in the Longest Drive Lounge.
And because we care about our community, on the day, we invite you to bring along any clubs or balls you no longer use for donation to the South Coast branch of the South African Golf Development Board.
All clubs and golf balls (balls sponsored by Bridgestone Golf) from the day will also be donated to the Board.
