5 Reasons you need to enter the Longest Drive competition this Sunday

The best of five shots will determine the winner.

The inaugural South Coast Herald Longest Drive Challenge takes place on the 18th hole of the Port Shepstone Country Club this Sunday, August 26, starting at 10am.

If you were wondering whether to enter, here are five reasons you need to book your ticket now. For just R200 you get:

  1. First 150 entrants receive a free goodie bag, jam-packed with an assortment of items including caps, magazines and snacks
  2. A free craft beer and craft gin
  3. Plenty of other free fun activities like golf ‘darts’ and the longest marshmallow drive
  4. Prizes for first, second and third places in the men’s and women’s longest drive category
  5.  The chance to relax and chill in the Longest Drive Lounge

Tickets are available at the South Coast Herald offices, the pro shop at Port Shepstone Country Club and through webtickets.
