This meaningful event will this year incorporate the beautiful butterfly prayer flags made by hospices throughout South Africa, for the encouragement of the 2018 Comrades Marathon runners.

At the beach, prior to the ride, South Coast Hospice CEO, Di van Dyk and community members will hand over 12 butterfly prayer flags as a symbol in memory of those bikers who have taken their last ride.

The bikers will then ride out and meet at Douglas Mitchell sports ground where a short butterfly flag hanging ceremony will take place at 11.15am.

All community members are invited to attend this ceremony, where they can enjoy viewing the bikes and the display of all the butterfly prayer flags.

Afterwards the bikers will meet for their annual breakfast.

Cost is R60 per biker. Contact Bt King at 082 7280233.
