Child Welfare celebrates Women’s Month in Gcilima

Child Welfare, Margate celebrated Women’s Month in Gcilima with senior citizens, honouring them for the role they play in the welfare of their grandchildren.

The day included an empowering programme. including life skills such as gardening and sewing.

Mandy Erasmus from Child Welfare, Margate further thanked the team from Give a Child a Family for the entertainment, and two special women from the Child Welfare, Margate office, Andy Xhaka for the foster care parenting tips and Silvy Nulliah for the co-coordinating the event.

“A very big shout out to Gift of the Givers who presented everyone with a gift,” she said.
