Tweni Talk: Drop off your donations with Ronnie

The shop is not able to sell books, but there a special book case at the postal agency where donated books are displayed for sale.

RONNIE Robson-Garth truly is a man with a passion. When your scribe popped into the Spiller’s Girls’ Charity Shop shop at Port Shepstone’s Spiller’s Waterfront recently, she found this smiling man offloading his bakkie – which was bulging with donations.

All proceeds go to Hibiscus Animal Welfare. The Anerley Postal Agency, run by Ronnie and his wife,  Gwen is a drop off point for donations for this worthy charity shop. It is run by a group of ten dedicated volunteers who take turns weekly.

If anyone is interested in doing a three-hour afternoon shift, please pop in and have a chat.

The shop is not able to sell books, so Ronnie has a special book case at the postal agency where donated books are displayed for sale and the money goes to the charity.

If you would like to support this worthy cause, drop off donations at the shop or at the agency.

Note the change

Muddy Boots Market has held its last Sunday sale and the next one will be on Saturday, October 6. There was a very good turnout of vendors and shoppers thanks to Liz Foster and Calvin Fourie for the support and willingness to host the market. Everyone is pleased to be able to continue using this great venue.

Ronnie Robson-Garth delivers a load of donations to Spiller’s Girls’ Charity Shop volunteer Michelle Hodgkinson at Port Shepstone Spiller’s Waterfront. All proceeds go to Hibiscus Animal Welfare.
