Elderly Port Edward couple’s attackers in court
The men appeared in the Ramsgate Magistrate's Court last Wednesday for bail application.
Charges against two of the three men arrested in connection with the attack on an elderly couple in Port Edward last month have been withdrawn by the state.
The men appeared in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court last Wednesday for bail application.

Charges were withdrawn against Samkele Ntuko (24) and Saziso ‘Rasta’ Qhala (22), as they will be state witnesses.
Magistrate Charmaine Barnard denied bail to the third accused, Sibongiseni ‘Dede’ Mthembu (24) who faces charges of rape, robbery and housebreaking.
The case has been postponed to October.
