According to  Netcare 911,  spokesman, Shawn Herbst, the man suffered injuries to his back and shoulder.
“Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of the compacted roller (39) was reversing the roller off a flat bed truck when he lost control of the roller. This resulted in the roller falling off the truck, landing on its side.”
The injured man was treated by an Advanced Life Support paramedic from Med-Evac Ambulance services and transported by Netcare 911 to hospital for further treatment.
