Sheppie High assists with food drive

A silent protest against domestic abuse ended off Women’s Month at the school.

As Women’s Month drew to an end, a group of Port Shepstone High girls, known as S.L.E.I.G.H (Sheppie Ladies Excel In Growth and Happiness), led a silent protest against domestic abuse during break on Friday, August 31.

The Interact committee assisted with a food drive organised by the Rotary Anns of Shelly Beach recently.

The team delivered food to Reinhardt’s Place in Pumula, where 90 meals are prepared daily for 30 patients and staff members which amounts to a staggering 33 000 meals a year.
