PSP goes green for spring

Guest speaker Pastor Reggie John highlighted the significance of Arbor Day and the importance of trees.

Port Shepstone Primary welcomed spring by celebrating Arbor Day. Pupils and teachers presented an exciting programme comprising songs, poetry and educational presentations.

Guest speaker, Pastor Reggie John, who pioneered the Hope Park project, highlighted the significance of Arbor Day and the importance of trees.

Pastor John also took part in a tree planting ceremony. Foundation phase pupils engaged in a colouring-in competition while gr 7 classes made items out of waste material. All items made were on display in the school library.

The school is extremely proud of Thandokazi Cebisa who won the gr 3 category at the recent Umbango River Conservancy spellathon.
