Hospice needs your support – here’s how you can help

From a 5km run to a movie night - take note of the many upcoming hospice events.

South Coast Hospice’s wonderful Kingfisher Charity Shop in Bisset Street, Port Shepstone is a great place to find a treasure or three.

The shop is open from 8am to 4pm from Monday to Friday, and from 8am to midday on Saturdays.

They collect anything and everything! If you have items you would like collected from your home, contact BT King at at 039 6823031/082 728 0233.

Take note of the many hospice fundraisers planned for the next two months:

* Saturday, September 29 – 5km fun run/walk at TB Molefe Stadium, Gamalakhe. Registration at 8am.

 Saturday, October 6 – Friends and family walk in memory of Helen Mostert. Meet at Hamel Farm in Izotsha at 10am.

* Wednesday, October 10 – The exclusive screening of ‘Book Club’ at Shelly Centre at 6pm. Tickets are R150 which includes the movie, a ‘virgin’ cocktail, regular popcorn and a bottle of water. Book your ticket by Monday, October 1.

* Friday, October 19 – ‘A night at the races’ – hospice’s annual charity horse racing event at Greyville Race Course will take place at 5pm. Theme: ‘Leave your hat on for hospice’.
