Spring blooms at Anerley Service Centre lunch

Pastor Charles Chalmers paid a surprise visit.

It was a festive day at the Anerley Service Centre last Thursday when members attended a ‘spring lunch’.

The mood was cheerful, and this was reflected in the colourful floral outfits and summery bonnets worn by guests.

Members were also surprised by a visit from a very special guest – Pastor Charles Chalmers.

Pastor Chalmers survived a major stoke in March and this was his first visit to the centre since then.

Service centre manager, Cheryl Oldfield, said the lunch was a success and much enjoyed by everyone.
