‘Fright night’ party was a spine-chiller

Creepy, fancy and bloody attire was the order of the night

Ghoulies, ghosties, and things that go bump in the night – all friendly of course – made their to the Village Tavern in Margate for the tavern’s annual Halloween party.Revellers donned their scariest costumes prior to dancing the night away until well past the ‘witching hour’.

The dance floor was packed, with devils rubbing shoulders with skeletons and zombis.

In keeping with the eerie theme, the spookiest songs from creepy classics such as Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’, Donovan’s ‘Season of the Witch’, The Cramps’ ‘Surfin’ Dead’ were played.Owner of the Village Tavern Kevin Krummeck said Halloween parties were exciting because they provided a rare opportunity to dress up and scare the living daylights out of each other.
