Special Needs Centre pupils go shopping

‘Shopkeeper’ Lene Schnackenberg had a lot of fun helping shoppers decide.

Learning how to shop is not an easy concept for some, but after a lot of practice last Friday morning, pupils from Megan du Plessis Special Needs Centre mastered it.

They were tasked with shopping for three items at their toy shop, using three R1 coins.

Teacher Lene Schnackenberg was the shopkeeper.

Afterwards, pupils enjoyed their snacks at a table decorated with pretty, colourful flowers bought at their shop.
