Challengers are winter winners

A total of 227.6 kg and 1096.0cm were lost.

The annual Winter Weight Loss Challenge, presented by Superbodies Health and Fitness Centre Port Shepstone and Wendy Fleming Fitness, was a huge success this year.

Of the 29 entrants, 26 completed the rigorous 12 week programme with fantastic results.

First place went to Bronwyn Roslee, for losing 16.5kg, and 61.5cm. In second place was Phumla Msomi who lost 14.9kg,and 61.5cm, followed by Zilindile Ngcongo in third place with her 13.4kg, 56.0cm loss.

 

 

 

Between them, the contestants lost 227.6 kgs and 1096.0cms.

The challenge consisted of weekly aerobic classes and weight training sessions at Superbodies Port Shepstone as well as various exciting outdoor challenges.

These challenges included hikes to Illovo Sugar Mill and Oribi Gorge and team building activities, as well as fitness training.

In second place was Phumla Msomi (left) who receives a gift hamper from sponsor Aneesa Khader of Justine.

 

“Very well done to all the challengers who have made the change to a healthy, active lifestyle and a new wardrobe,” said personal trainer, Wendy.
