Mother tells of son’s addiction

Annalie Els told of how he was set free.

‘Christmas in Thailand’ was well received at Stonecroft Ministries’ recent monthly tea, held at Mbango Valley recently.

Joan D’Arcy, who has lived in more than one Asian country told the gathering how she spent Christmas for many years far from home.

Mari Webster, accompanied by Sue Neilson,gave a moving rendition of ‘Mary did you know?’ by Clay Aiken.

Annalie Els, the main speaker for the morning, related how she, as a mother, had to endure the pain of discovering that her son was on drugs.

“Apart from mood changes, things in the house went missing to finance his craving to get high. He was in numerous rehabs, but finally, Jesus set him completely free from addiction.”
