St Paddy’s Day festival a hit at TC Robertson nature reserve

A word of thanks goes to all participants and event goers who made the event a fantastic success.

The TC Robertson Nature Reserve hosted a St Patrick’s Day Festival last Sunday which was enjoyed thoroughly by all.

The sun was out and there were clear skies on the day which made it even more enjoyable.

On offer was a variety of stalls selling an array of arts and crafts, food, clothing, airbrush tattoos and craft beer to get you into the spirit of things.

Charmain Squire and her exquisite handmade dolls and teddies which she sold at the St Paddy’s Day Festival.

One of the main attractions was ‘Sharkie the Shark’ mascot who kept the crowd hyped up and danced with children to live music.

There were also several children’s activities which included face painting, scooter rides, a jumping castle and even donkey cart rides. Pat McKrill the snake man paid a visit and wowed the crowd with a few of his slithery friends.

Lucky draws were done throughout the day and some awesome prizes were given away.

The Mackay brothers, Sean (left) and Neil said that they had so much fun at the St Paddy’s Day Festival.
