A DUAL stabbing left a young couple from Riverside Park in Umzinto hospitalised last Thursday, May 23.
When Umzinto Saps Constables Brian Shinga and Manqoba Mwelase arrived at the couple’s home, the woman had already been taken to the Umzinto Clinic by another resident. She was later transported to GJ Crookes Hospital.
Her boyfriend, who also suffered a number of stab wounds, was also hospitalised.
“A broken, blood stained knife was recovered at the scene,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.
