Cash and cell phones were stolen from Jet Stores in Umzinto last Sunday, May 26.
“The assistant manager was alerted to movements of cellular phone trackers by its tracker company,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis. “Upon opening the store she noticed that the safes in the cash office were on the floor.”

It is believed that an angle grinder had been used to cut open the safes.
A case of business burglary is being investigated by Detective Sergeant Nomalen Pillay of Umzinto Saps. Anyone with information is asked to contact him at 039-9746500 or Crime Stop at 086-0010111.
