An armed robbery occurred in Saville Road, Preston last Thursday, June 6 at about 1.30pm.
A man was in the lounge when he was confronted by two men wearing balaclavas. One of the intruders was armed with a pistol.
“They told him not to scream before covering his head with a towel taken from a bedroom,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.
The man then realised that there was a third intruder in the house.

He was held at gunpoint while his house was ransacked.
It was later discovered that the robbers had gained access to the house by forcing open a window in one of the back rooms.
Items stolen included a laptop, cell phone and jewellery.
