RNM hosts business indaba

The session was aimed at bringing together young business owners and those in the know to provide networking opportunities.

To celebrate Youth Month, the Ray Nkonyeni Youth Council hosted a one-day youth empowerment business Indaba at Margate hotel last Thursday.

The session was aimed at bringing together young business owners and those in the know to provide networking opportunities.

Individuals with different skills from exciting fields were brought in and presentations were made by various stakeholders such as the National Youth Development Agency, Kwazulu-Natal Economic Development and Tourism Environment affairs, ABSA and Vodacom.

At the business indaba presentations on sustainable business opportunities and ideas were given and the link with potential funders was discussed.

Luthando Ncenjani from Vodacom shared funding opportunities with the attendees of the business indaba.

Those attending also learnt about the latest business innovations and trends and how breaking traditional rules could improve their businesses.
