Sheppie Snippets: Temple to host comedy show

The show is a fund-raiser for the temple, which was damaged by the recent floods.

On April 23 this year, the South Coast was battered by heavy rains which flooded many areas in the region. The Umbango Siva Soobramoniar Temple was damaged with water rising over a metre high in and around the temple premises.

A Dingalings comedy show ‘Henry for President’, to raise funds for the restoration of the temple, will be staged at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre this Friday, June 28 at 8pm.

Golf day

Umbango Siva Soobramoniar will also host a golf day at the Port Shepstone Country Club this Sunday, June 30. For further details contact Kevin at 083 3753876 or Jason at 084 2508875.

Stonecroft

Stonecroft Ministries will be celebrating its 40th year on the South Coast. Be part of the celebrations and join the team at Port Shepstone Country Club this Friday, June 28 at 9.30am. Entry is R30. Guest speakers are Kelly Berry, psychologist, wife and mother who will explore the need for self-care and Jill Sumpton from the Stonecroft Ministries’ board of directors. Bagpiper David Anderson-Smith will entertain and Ruth Fanner’s dancers will delight with their flag dance.

Tennis
