Funds roll in for #ILoveBoobies at Burry Stander Bike Park

Some R4000 was raised from entry fees, while about R4500 worth of the popular ILoveBoobies socks were sold.

The Share to Spare run/walk/ride event hosted by non-profit organisation ILoveBoobies at the Burry Stander Bike Park last Saturday attracted close to a hundred people.

ILoveBoobies brand ambassadors Cindy Francis and Angela Bunge said they were thrilled about the success of the event.

Cindy said the 96 walkers, runners and cyclists managed to raise R4000 from the entries, and that  about R4500 worth of the popular ILoveBoobies socks had been sold.

The organisation raises funds by receiving donations and selling sports fashion apparel online in support of its joint venture fund-raising programme with the Cancer Association of South Africa to send mobile health screening clinics into remote areas of South Africa.

“Everyone had a ball and we would like to thank the community for their support, the sponsors and Mandie and Charles Stander for letting us use the bike park for the event. It was a winning day and we are very grateful to everyone who supported this charitable event,” said Cindy.
