Girl guides need your (clean) waste
The girls will be collecting recyclable materials such as clean plastic items and bottles for the Rainbow Warriors Recycle for Rescues initiative.
The Port Shepstone Girl Guides are taking up the Crystal Challenge, and they need your help.
This year’s theme is #SmallChangeBigChange
This means that any small act of service can make a big impact in someone’s life. The girl guides are encouraged to make as many changes as possible which could be something small such as showing someone how to recycle, or something big, like organising a beach, school or park clean-up.

Panda Jolene Evans said the girls will be collecting recyclable materials such as clean plastic items and bottles for the Rainbow Warriors Recycle for Rescues initiative and the Crystal Challenge project, whereby they will make eco-bricks and convert them into stools which will eventually be delivered to a local creche.
The winning crew will be awarded the Crystal Challenge World Flag.
If you would like to assist, please drop your clean waste off at the old Scout Hall in Port Shepstone between 5pm and 6.30pm.
