Ugu has said it’s de-activating it’s current Facebook Page, ‘Ugu Municipality Talk’ and will soon be migrating to a new Facebook page called Ugu District Municipality.
According to Ugu, the page is currently being developed and will be fully functional on Thursday, August 1 2019.

Ugu said this was in line with the ‘reviewal of its communication strategy’ and because the page had been set up as a chat group, it personal profiles of the administrators were public, and they had sometimes suffered public abuse and personal attacks by the public.
