Learn to fight addiction – together

The purpose of this open show is to present the show’s message to sponsors and the public, and is also an opportunity educate the parents and loved ones of addicts on how it affects an addict and how addiction should be approached.

THE 60 Minutes Fight Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse, a South Coast-based non-profit company, joins hands with The Cedars Recovery Centre each year to present the 60 Minutes Fight Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse tour.

The tour, which runs from July 29 to 31, visits six high schools, targeting two each day, where pupils are educated about the effects and dire consequences of substance addiction.

The programme features an educational play, exclusively prepared and performed by residents of The Cedars Recovery Centre, and entertainment pieces.

A non-profit company, they are grateful to sponsors for making it possible for them to carry the message to local schools where drug and alcohol addiction is rife, and a major contributor to derailing the future of our young members of society.
