Two dead in Harding crash

It is believed to have been a head-on collision.

A serious collision involving two vehicles occurred on the N2 near Harding earlier today (Monday).

Glen Preston of Med-Evac Ambulance Services said a bakkie and a taxi collided at about 2pm. “The only details we have now is that two people have died and 12 people have suffered serious injuries,” said Mr Preston.

Bertie Strydom a Harding resident said the accident looked to have been a head-on collision, adding that the road had been closed for some time.

A media statement is awaited from the police.
