All indications are that CemAir will begin operating from Margate Airport from Saturday, August 10.
This is according to Ray Nkonyeni municipal manager, Max Mbili, who said that while there had been no word from Airlink on when it would begin operations, CemAir had committed to begin flying from next week.

According to Mr Mbili contractual arrangements with Airlink had been finalised, but there were still problems with office space at Margate Airport.
The airline was worried that its equipment wouldn’t fit into the available space.
“We offered to provide them with an alternative but they have not responded,” Mr Mbili said.
The Herald has fielded several calls from people asking when flights would resume.
Questions were also asked about whether CemAir planned to refund those who had booked and paid for tickets before the airline was grounded.
Mr Mbili said he urged those customers to contact the airline directly and, if that failed, said the municipality would engage CemAir regarding refunds.
